The lamp design was inspired by Japanese joinery which requires no glue or fasteners to be constructed. This allows for easy disassembly for moving and storing (see hands-on table example). The oak used was scrap from a furniture project. The lamp sits square to the desk corner and the cord has been hidden within the wood to create a clean, clutter free desktop. Long replacement bulbs can be bought at any big box retailer.
